DAY 1                DUBROVNIK

Arrival to Dubrovnik Airport. Transfer to hotel in Dubrovnik.
Welcome meeting at the hotel at 19:00. Overnight in Dubrovnik.

Breakfast at hotel.
Towering above Dubrovnik to the north, the 412-metre peak of Mount Srd offers stunning views of the walled town below, with a panorama of the whole coast stretching as far as the Pelješac peninsula to the northwest. The mountain seems a world away from the lush subtropical world of the coastal strip, with bare stone and scrub stretching as far as the eye can see. On the top of the hill is the Fort Imperial with its stout, defiant walls standing ever since Napoleon’s soldiers built the fort in 1812. The fort and this mountain was where one of the biggest battles took place in the 1991-1995 Croatian War of Independence. The cable car that was disabled during this time has recently been reopened. After our Srd adventure we are going to visit Cavtat. This small town is situated in the Konavle Region, south of Dubrovnik. Originally a Greek settlement, it had a turbulent history and finally became a lovely tourist destination. The main Cavtat walk is about 8 km long and follows the shore. It will take you along the beaches of the untouched Sustjepan Peninsula, passing by the famous Cavtat Promenade and Rat Peninsula. Here you can experience true Mediterranean nature.
You will visit the Racic Mausoleum that lies among the trees at the highest point above the town and can be seen shining like a pearl from as far away. It is located in St. Rocco's cemetery and surrounded by a line of cypress and pine trees, with a beautiful view of the sea. This huge and magnificent work by the most famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Mestrovic is the present-day emblem of Cavtat. You may also visit the Franciscan Church and Monastery our Lady of the Snow and the Bukovac Art Gallery. Enjoy a free evening and dinner on your own in Dubrovnik.  Overnight in Dubrovnik.  Walking: 4 hours

It got its name after the emerald green color of the water of a small lake whose source one does not notice inside the cave.
Vražji prolaz (The Devils's Passage) is one of the most beautiful Croatian canyons, full of wild romance. Through a narrow, barely 2 meter wide canyon, between a 100m high cliffs, the Jasle mountain creek fights its way through wildly murmuring. Over it, standing on supports cut into a live cliff, there are galleries and bridges the visitors use to pass through. There are steep cliffs all around, while deep down, under your feet, there is a loud, foamy creek. At the end of the Devil's Passage there is another attraction, a cave called Muževa Hižica. Tourists can explore up to 200m inside. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Delnice, HB

Breakfast  at the hotel.
Today's adventures bring us to Risnjak National Park – home to 3 great beasts of European wild life: the wolf, the bear and the lynx. Located just under 10 miles from the Adriatic Sea, the park includes Risnjak and Snježnik ranges, as well as the source area of the Kupa River, which is, beyond doubt, one of the most beautiful places in the area. The Kupa River forms a natural border between Croatia and Slovenia. It springs from a karstic well at the park's lowest point, forming a turquoise pond over 650 feet long and nearly 100 feet wide. This natural phenomenon is one of the deepest and strongest river sources in Croatia, and remains puzzling for scientists. The Kupa flows through a picturesque valley known as the „valley of butterflies“ – more than 500 species inhabit the area!
We start hiking from Razloge all the way down to the source of the River Kupa (30 minutes steep downhill). After the short break we continue our way through „valley of butterflies“ along the river to the small place called Kupari.
Time and weather allowing, we will also hike through Leska Educational Path before returning to our hotel for dinner. Overnight in Delnice, HB

Our biking route is easy (cca 22km ), using both asphalt and gravel road,  and it is great for exploring the location.
